My HIStory with MJ

I just cant stress enough how MJ has helped to shape my life. Growing up listening to him preach about how we all need to love one another like the brothers and sisters that we are, to help those in need, that love heals all, to forgive, to be compassionate, and to be childlike, but not childish.

I am heading off to Africa in just over a month to volunteer in an orphanage for malnourished children. Once the orphan is healthy he or she is reunited with their family if they are willing to take the child back. My duties will be to feed, bathe and play with the children. I am so excited. This is something I have always wanted to do and I believe the reason I feel so passionately about it is because of the influence Michael Jackson had on me at such an early age. I am so grateful for his influence, this trip will be a life altering one I am sure. I just wish people would choose to see the good that he tried to bring to the world, and not see the oddities that the media helped to create about him.

There is not a day that goes by that I do not think about Michael, I actually believe that he was a prophet sent here by God to help spread his message of peace and love. There... I said it. thats what i believe, and I dont care if you think i am crazy. I believe this with every fiber of my being. he was my hero, and i truly feel blessed to have grown up in the generation that I did. People need to forget how he was portrayed in the media and go back and listen to all his music...not the hits...but the other songs...the ones that mean something...and see what a amazing inspirational man Mj truly was. He was NOT Jesus. but he tried to live like Jesus in many ways.
